Security and data handling

The concrete controls behind the product

Resume data is sensitive. This page states the controls visible in the current infrastructure and product without turning them into a blanket legal or certification claim.

AWS-hosted storage and processing

Modern Recruiter runs on AWS serverless infrastructure. The infrastructure definition configures AWS-managed encryption for the DynamoDB table and S3-managed encryption for resume and processing buckets.

Authenticated access

Accounts are managed through Amazon Cognito. Native accounts can enable multi-factor authentication, and authenticated API routes use a Cognito authorizer.

Separate source files, parsed data, and application records

The system uses distinct storage resources for uploads, parsed material, and application state. Production data resources use retention-oriented removal policies where configured in the infrastructure.

What this page does not claim

These technical controls do not by themselves establish that every customer use is compliant with every hiring, privacy, or employment law. Customers should apply their own retention, access, disclosure, and decision-review requirements.
