Transparent screening

Every score should be inspectable

A useful screening assistant should show its work. Modern Recruiter exposes the rubric, the score for each criterion, and the rationale used to support that score.

The criteria are visible before evaluation

Recruiters can edit criterion names, descriptions, weights, and scoring methods before a session starts. The result is tied back to the same rubric rather than a hidden generic ranking formula.

The reasons remain visible after evaluation

Completed results include criterion-level rationale and an overall explanation. A recruiter can compare the reason with the underlying resume and decide whether the score is persuasive.

Human review is part of the method

Modern Recruiter supports an initial screen. It does not verify every resume claim, conduct the interview, make an employment decision, or remove the hiring team’s responsibility to review the output.

Disclosure and criteria checks are built into the product

The application includes an AI-disclosure template, rubric attestations, and warnings for potentially sensitive criteria categories. These controls support a review process; they are not a substitute for legal advice or a hiring policy.

Pressure-test it on one real role

Define the rubric, run the pool, and inspect the reason behind every score before you trust the ranking.
